Long, long ago, there lived a monster that came out at night to destroy people’s houses and eat their livestock. One day, the villagers decided enough was enough. They gathered together a group of brave warriors to defeat the monster, and bring peace and happiness back to the people.

With this miraculous folk story as the backdrop to this holiday programme for kindergarten students, children will learn Tang poems, Chinese kung fu and traditional Chinese dance. Across one week packed with these and other fun activities, they will develop their knowledge of and interest in Chinese culture while confidently expressing themselves in Mandarin.

        以前有一个夜魔, 专门夜晚出来毁坏人们的房屋, 吃掉人们的牲畜。为了让大家过上平安幸福的生活, 十几个勇士克服种种困难, 战胜了夜魔。

        孩子们通过一个神奇的民间故事, 学习唐诗、中国功夫和传统舞蹈律动, 并对中华文化产生深深的热爱, 更勇于在戏剧活动中运用华语, 充满自信地表达自己。
